About the song:
We people tend to run in circles,
we are often too proud
to stop doing the same bad, old habits
over and over again.
If we remove our pride,
we know we can't keep ourselves away
from those sins.
We grew entangled with them
and are in need of a Savior,
saving us from the burden
and final consequences
of our sinful acts (criminal deeds),
and saving us from Hell,
the punishment that we do deserve
for our crimes against God and men.
But we are like dogs,
returning to our own vomit
or like pigs returning to our own shit.
As a fake alibi / false excuse
(because of our pride),
we are putting the guilt on God,
while the guilt is ours,
as we drown in our sinful lusts.
They slowly pull us towards Hell.
